My understanding of what it takes to be successful is firmly grounded in what I did BEFORE becoming a coach. I have almost 20 years of corporate experience, most recently as vice president and corporate officer of telecommunications for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. From that, I gained first-hand understanding of what it takes to be a success - when failure is not an option and total control is unobtainable. It wasn't easy, but it WAS doable. And it can be for you, too - if you're willing to work for it, that is, because it won't just happen by osmosis.

So what might you expect from working with me as on your leadership skills? Well, for starters, I will help you:

• Recognize where you need to be more disciplined because that's where people get blindsided the most in business;

In very real terms, my job as your coach is to help you be as successful as you choose to be. My coaching style blends real-world business manager experience with true coaching expertise. Before becoming a coach, I spent almost 20 years in the telecommunications information technology industry, nine in an executive management capacity. I have an BA in psychology and an MBA in marketing. I have taught at Northwestern University. And my extensive coach training was through the Coaches Training Institute - so as a CTI coach, I can bring to our calls a whole portfolio of skills and competencies to facilitate your personal development and/or professional growth.
