When are you at your Absolute Best?
- Morning ... or afternoon?
- Early in the week ... or more toward the middle ... or end of the week?
- With a deadline looming .. or when you have time to be creative?
- When you're particularly well-organized ... or when things are a total mess?
- In times of simplicity ... or in times of complexity?
- In front of your boss ... or your staff ... or your peers ... or your customers?
- When faced with something new and demanding ... or something familiar and comfortable?
- When accountable to others ... or accountable to your self?
- When well-rested ... or highly-caffeinated?
- When feeling ego ... or feeling gratitude?
- When there's a crisis ... or when there's not?
When are YOU at your Absolute Best and, more importantly, how can you spend more time in THAT place?

Thanks, Missy!
I'm at my absolute best in the morning, the day of the week doesn't matter, when I have time to be creative (and self-edit my work), when things are a total mess, in times of simplicity, when I'm alone, something familiar and comfortable, I'm equally accountable to myself and others, when well-rested, when feeling gratitude and the fewer crises the better.
I work for myself, and I sometimes work a non-traditional workday because of that. I do my most difficult work in the morning, if I'm drowsy, I've been known to take a snooze in the afternoon and work again at night after I put the kids to bed. I feel myself and my clients are much better off when I listen to myself and work when I'm mentally alert, rested and relaxed. Good question!
Great Questions! Also makes me think about why I'm not at my best the other times and how I can improve on that.
My answers: Morning; Early week; Deadline looming; Well-Organized (though this is rare); Complexity; Same in front of all; New & demanding; Accountable to others (great question that demands honesty); well-rested (though the password for this comment is "mocah" 0 is that a hint?); feeling gratitude; crisis.
