Go on, Admit it
So what happened here? What shifted in my thinking that helped me turn the corner? Oddly enough, it started with simply noticing things that I had been ignoring - looking around and seeing things with 'fresh eyes', if you will. I 'noticed' that I wasn't being honest with myself about something. I wasn't stretching myself lately. I hadn't sunk my teeth into much of anything new or different in a while. I realized I missed the energy and enthusiasm and motivation that came with that. I realized how healthy that sort of thing can be for me. And I realized I wanted some more of that for me.
I also realized that I wanted to improve my search engine rankings for GottaGettaCoach! and knew that in addition to all the things I was doing to achieve that, I realized that Google, among other search engines, might 'appreciate' a cleaner HTML code than I was offering.
Based on this combination of INTERNAL and EXTERNAL motivators, I suddenly found myself ready and raring to go.
What's holding you back from that special project or endeavor of yours? Start by noticing what you've been ingnoring lately. Realize what you haven't been willing to admit to yourself ... and admit it, already! If you do, you'll see things in a much different light. And you, too, will be ready and raring to go.
