  • The Chicago Coach Federation recognized Barry Zweibel for his contributions to the chapter and the coaching community in 2004.

  • 3qtr2004:

  • Barry Zweibel was interviewed for an article on life coaching in The Greenville Journal, a metropolitan community weekly magazine from Greenville, South Carolina.

  • Hondu.com, a "communication skills portal," posted a version of a favorite Barry Zweibel article, Manage Your Boss Effectively.

  • Barry Zweibel was quoted in the Chicago Sun Times newspaper on the topic of charisma in an article called, Breaking down Obama.

  • The Online Consultancy Network posted Being a Better Boss: Shifting your Perspectives, an article written by Barry Zweibel.

  • Barry Zweibel was quoted in the Indianapolis Star newspaper in an article called Change Means Sometimes Having to Say Goodbye.

  • How to Let Your Coach Go Without Feeling Like a "Jerk", an article by Barry Zweibel, was published by the Association of Coaching & Consulting Professionals on the Web.

  • Barry Zweibel was asked to participate in a research study being conducted at the U. of Nebraska as one of 20 experts/theorists in the field of executive coaching.

  • GottaGettaCoach! participated in the Better Business Bureau's ID Theft protection program.

  • 2qtr2004:

  • The International Coach Federation awarded Barry Zweibel the life coach credential of Professional Certified Coach. The PCC designation is earned by demonstrating knowledge and proficient use of core life coaching skills through a comprehensive application and exam process designed to ensure high standards for the coaching profession and the clients it serves.

  • The Online Consultancy Network selects two articles written by Barry Zweibel for republication: Are You Ready for a New Coach? and  How To Improve Your Networking Skills.

  • First Work Bytes! column printed in The Ticker magazine.

  • Barry Zweibel is quoted in the Washington Post in an article titled, Save Your Charm for the Interview.

  • SMC, Ltd. of Dallas, Texas, selects GottaGettaCoach! for an executive coaching initiative.

  • Second Work Bytes! column printed in The Ticker magazine.

  • Barry Zweibel presented, "How to F.R.A.M.E. the Coaching Conversation" to attendees of the 36th Annual Midwest Claim Conference. Interest in the session was so strong that it was presented twice - once on Monday afternoon, and then again on Tuesday morning.

  • Barry Zweibel begins coaching assignments with a clients from England and France.

  • Barry Zweibel is invited to provide 'laser coaching' sessions for attendees at the CCASTD Career Development Day at Benedictine College in Lisle, Illinois. (CCASTD is the Chicagoland Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development.)

  • 1qtr2004:

  • Barry Zweibel was interviewed for an upcoming article in Work/Life Matters magazine on helping African American women overcome the 'cement ceiling' of the business world. He was also interviewed for a piece in a London-based newspaper on helping women make better decisions. (Links will be provided when they become available.)

  • GottaGettaCoach! expanded its international reach by signing on several new clients from Canada. Welcome!

  • The International Coach Federation is considering Barry Zweibel for its prestigious Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. Requirements include logging a minimum of 750 client coaching hours, attending at least 125 hours of coach-specific training, passing a comprehensive set of written and oral examinations, and submitting a number of written recommendations from clients and already-ICF-certified coaches who've been successfully coached by him. 

  • Barry Zweibel was asked to speak at the 36th Annual Midwest Claim Conference about management coaching and mentoring. His presentations, to be held on May 24th and 25th, will be called "How to F.R.A.M.E. the Coaching Conversation."

  • GottaGettaCoach! donates one month of free life coaching to St. Ignatius College Prep School as an item to be auctioned at their recent fundraising event.

  • The Wall Street Technology Association published Strength-to-Strength: Improving Your Workplace Performance, an article by Barry Zweibel, in their Jan/Feb 2004 issue of The Ticker magazine. They also asked him author an ongoing column. The column which will be titled, "Work Bytes!", will begin with the March/April 2004 issue.

  • Barry Zweibel was interviewed as an expert on Family Rituals for an article in Better Homes & Garden magazine based on his e-book, Family Rituals: Fun Things Families Do Together.
